  • I've written two reviews of steady and unsteady plumes for the "Underlying Flow Regimes" of the Q-NET Knowledge Base which should (hopefully) appear sometime in 2009. Watch this space...


  • Okay (ahem) so it's not strictly speaking research. It's a book written by the excellent Nigel Page on cross-country paragliding in the UK. I contributed the front cover which was taken from a nice flight I had from Stanage Edge in Derbsyhire in 2007. If you squint you can see Nigel Holliday on a red wing near the reservoir quite low down. Go on then, buy a copy, you know you want to... help support impoverished paraglider pilots ;-)
